On Tuesday, December 5, our Liberal Caucus had the honour of serving lunch at the new Salvation Army Centre of Hope. We also had an opportunity to speak with Executive Director, Ian McKenzie, about how Yukoners can support the Salvation Army this holiday season.
A big thing for the Salvation Army this time of year is their Christmas Kettle campaign. The Salvation Army needs volunteers who are willing to spend a bit of time standing at one of their kettle locations in the city. The time commitment is as little as two hours, or can be as much as a person is able to give between now and December 23.
All of the funds raised through this campaign go directly to supporting the programs at the new Centre of Hope.

Unable to volunteer? Don’t forget you can support the Centre of Hope by donating at a Kettle near you!
