Yukoners want to eat more local food, and Yukon farms want to help them do just that! Yukon’s new agriculture policy –Cultivating Our Future – was recently released and provides a road map for how we can work together to grow this vital industry.
The policy supports increasing Yukon’s self-sufficiency in food production, producing high-quality products, and building capacity in our local economy in a way that leaves positive cultural and environmental legacies for future generations.
