Early highlights from 2017:
- Held a Yukon Forum with First Nation Chiefs to develop a joint action plan on shared priorities. Committed to four per year.
- Signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Mining with First Nation Chiefs, to work together for a strong economy.
- First Nations Chiefs joined our Liberal Caucus in Ottawa for Yukon Days to discuss shared priorities with federal ministers.
- Built on our commitment to reconciliation by meeting with First Nation Chiefs and federal Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs at the Intergovernmental Forum.
