Early Highlights from 2017:
- Approvals made to allow work to begin on a new open pit at the Minto mine.
- Funding for the Yukon Chamber of Mines ($375,000) and the Klondike Placer Miners’ Association ($360,000) to promote exploration and mining.
- Committed $300,000 for resource road improvement projects to meet the needs of Yukon’s mining industry.
- Partnered with Kwanlin Dün First Nation to modernize Yukon’s land titles system to promote economic growth.
